<a href=p2326.html>Jarrett Sokolowski</a> socks five hits for Cincinnati
HOUSTON - 'You know, in batting practice I didn't really 
feel that comfortable about my stroke today, but baseball 
is more than hitting. Then, when you're not trying 
to force a hit, you slug them in droves,' says <a href=p2326.html>Jarrett 
Sokolowski</a> after his 5 hit game, which Cincinnati 
won 10-9 against Houston. His 3rd hit, a two-run homerun 
off <a href=p797.html>Robert Reeves</a> in the 4th 
inning, cleared the fence in right field. His 4th hit, 
off <a href=p1695.html>Leigh Villareal</a> in the 6th 
inning, was a solo homerun and cleared the fence in 
right field. His 5th hit was a double off <a href=p1647.html>Jeremias 
Perdomo</a> in the 9th inning. He collected singles 
in the 1st inning and in the 3rd inning . Jarrett scored 
4 runs, and he collected 3 RBI as well! He now has 
a total of 48 hits this season, accounting for a .258 
batting average.
